چکیده:
Bahareh Azizi-Nejad[1]* Abstract: The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the impact of teaching Quranic stories on the understanding of religious perceptions among fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method is quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test. The statistical community includes all female fifth-grade students in the city of Urmia. The sample size is 80 people, who were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The research tool is a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of the three dimensions of religious perceptions in the fields of beliefs, rulings (Ahkam), and ethics; the reliability of the tool was obtained at a desirable level with a Cronbach's alpha of 81.0. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software and inferential statistics. The research findings indicate that the mean post-test scores in the two experimental and control groups in the dimensions of beliefs, rulings, and ethics of religious perceptions have a significant difference (P=0.05 < 0.00) and, with 95% confidence, teaching Quranic stories has a positive impact on the understanding of religious perceptions of fifth-grade elementary school students in the dimensions of beliefs, ethics, and rulings. Thus, the understanding of religious perceptions in the dimensions of beliefs, rulings, and ethics through Quranic stories is better achieved compared to direct and conventional methods. Finally, practical suggestions in line with the obtained results are provided.

Table 3: Results of the analysis of covariance of the two tested groups regarding the understanding of religious perceptions in the dimension of beliefs (Refer to the page image) On the other hand, the estimated beta value for the independent variable is also significant at the 5% error level (t=0.
Quranic stories affect the understanding of religious perceptions in the dimension of moral teachings among fifth-grade elementary school students.
Quranic stories affect the understanding of religious perceptions in the dimension of moral teachings among fifth-grade elementary school students.
Therefore, by removing the effect of the pretest, the null hypothesis based on the absence of a difference between the mean post-test scores of students in the two control and experimental groups is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is confirmed; thus, it can be said that with 95% confidence, retelling Quranic stories has an effect on the understanding of religious perceptions in the dimension of moral teachings among fifth-grade elementary school students.
