چکیده:
This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the relationship between organizational forgetting and resistance to change. The statistical population of this research consisted of the General Directorates of Cooperation. The statistical sample consisted of 200 employees of these directorates, who were selected using a stratified random sampling method proportional to the population size. In terms of method, this study is correlational, and in terms of purpose, it is applied. Accordingly, to measure the basic concepts of the research, a questionnaire based on the organizational forgetting model of Halen and Phillips (2004) and the resistance to change questionnaire by Yin et al. (2001) was used. The reliability of the questionnaires was calculated using Cronbach's alpha method for the two mentioned variables as 0.84 and 0.83, respectively. The validity of the test was also confirmed through two methods: content validity and construct validity, using exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and the KMO index. The final findings of the research indicate a significant relationship between organizational forgetting and its dimensions (including purposeful and accidental) and resistance to change.
