Abstract:
تسلط هذه الورقة الضوء على المواقع الأثرية التي ترجع إلى عصر الفونج في أواسط إقليم
الجزيرةء إذ إن الهدف الأساس من ذلك هو إبراز الوجود الأثري في المنطقة التي لم تحظ بقدر كاف
من الدراسات الآثاريةء حيث عُثر على الكثير من المواقع الأثرية التي ترجع إلى هذه الفترة وغيرهاء
والتي لم توضع ضمن خارطة السودان الأثرية. كما تحاول الورقة أيضًّا وضع خطة لصناعة
السياحة بالمنطقةء وترويجهاء خاصة وأنها تحوي مواقع أثرية عديدةء بما فيها موقع أربجي التاريخي
والأثري المعروف. اعتمدت الورقة على منهج العمل الميداني الذي بُني على المسح الآثاريء إضافة
إلى جمع الروايات الشفهية عن المواقع الأثرية والمنطقة بشكل عام. والجدير بالذكر أن ثمرة هذا
العمل تتمثل في عرض موقع أربحي ومكوناته الثقافيةء ومحاولة ترويجه للسياحةء كما تم تسجيل
ثمانية مواقع أثرية أخرى لم تعرف من قبل. توصي الورقة بمزيد من الدراسات في المنطقة المعنية
والمناطق المجاورة لأنها تتعرض للدمار بشكل ملحوظ. كما توصي بلفت نظر الجهات الرسمية
للإمكانيات السياحية التي تحظى بها المنطقةء ما يدعو إلى الاستفادة منها بشكل مثالي.
This paper will shed lite on the archaeological sites that go back to the
Fung kingdom in the middle of the Gezira Reach. The main objective is to
highlight the archaeological existence in the area that has not previously a
focus of research. There are many archaeological sites that go back to this
period and other sites belonging to prehistoric and historic period were not
placed on the archaeological map of Sudan. The paper also tries to develop a
plan for tourism investment in this region, and promote it, especially as it
contains many archaeological sites, including the site of Arbaji. The paper
relied on the fieldwork methodology that adopted the archaeological survey,
in addition to collecting the oral heritage about archaeological sites and the
region in general. It is worth mentioning that the yield of this work 1s the
displaying the Arbaji site with its cultural components, as it is trying to
promote it for tourism. As well, the survey recorded eight archaeologica lin the area concerned and neighboring areas because the sites are
significantly destroyed. It also draws the attention of the official authorities to look after the tourism possibilities of the region, which should be used optimally.
