Abstract:
Purpose: The managers' professional development is one of the effective factors in improving the position of organizations in comparison with other organizations. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of providing a model of educational managers' professional development in the banking industry.
Methodology: This research in terms of purpose was applied and in terms of implementation method was quantitative. The research population was the managers of Sepah Bank branches and consultants and educational experts of Sepah Bank headquarters in Tehran city in 2021 year with number of 280 people. The sample size was estimated based on Cochran's formula 161 people who were selected by simple random sampling method. To collect the data were used from the researcher-made questionnaire of educational managers' professional development (78 items), which its content validity was confirmed by 10 experts and its reliability was obtained above 0.70 by Cronbach's alpha method. Finally, the data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis in SPSS-24 software.
Findings: The results of the present study showed that 2 items were removed due to a factor load of less than 0.40 and the final form of the researcher-made questionnaire of educational managers' professional development had 76 items in 4 dimensions (organizational, individual, technological and environmental) and 21 components, which the factor load of all of them was higher than 0.40 and based on their factor load, the four dimensional model of educational managers' professional development in the banking industry was drawn.
Conclusion: According to the results of the present study, for the educational managers' professional development can be increased its organizational, individual, technological and environmental dimensions through the each constituent components and items.
