چکیده:
In most studies that have examined the critical success factors of knowledge management, a set of factors has been generally introduced as critical success factors for knowledge management. However, each organization has its own specific critical factors. Therefore, this research attempts to investigate and determine how to identify the success factors of knowledge management in an organization. For this purpose, a definition was used that categorizes these factors into three groups: general, key, and critical factors. Accordingly, Chang and Choi's comprehensive list was used as general success factors. To identify the general and key success factors of knowledge management in the studied organization, 8 experts were surveyed. The identification of general factors was done through interviews, and the identification of key factors was conducted using the Delphi method. The questionnaire used in the stage of determining key and critical factors is the Seung Choi Chang questionnaire. The participants in the stage of identifying critical success factors for knowledge management are 41 managers and experts of the organization. The results showed that 5 factors—knowledge structure, team spirit and teamwork, culture of supporting knowledge, employee engagement, and employee empowerment—are considered critical success factors in implementing knowledge management in the studied organization.

Table 6 - How questions related to identifying critical factors were answered (Refer to page image) Given that factors with a mean score of less than 3 are considered critical factors, five factors: teamwork and team spirit, employee involvement, knowledge structure, employee empowerment, and a knowledge-supporting culture, are the critical factors of the organization under study in the implementation of knowledge management.
