چکیده:
Given that managers are considered the strategic assets of every organization, their scientific and conscious deployment will pave the way for organizational development. This research, using statistical-fuzzy and mathematical techniques, has designed a suitable model for selecting managers. The above model was designed as a fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making model for the management succession process in one of the state-owned companies. Accordingly, theoretical and empirical patterns of management abilities were first studied, and then statistical non-parametric tests of success ratio and the Kruskal-Wallis test were used to examine the difference between variable values among several populations. In the next step, the weighted average method was used to determine the weights of sub-criteria, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique was used to determine the weights of main criteria. Finally, using fuzzy set methods and the TOPSIS technique, the prioritization of management replacement candidates was addressed for essential occasions when they possess the ability to hold a management position.

model (2003) consists of business and strategic skills, individual, cultural and change processes, and human resources; the Friedenberg model (2004) consists of organizational, group, interpersonal, communication, effectiveness, occupational, and reasoning criteria; the Creep and Mansfeld model (2004) consists of communication and influence, guiding others, achieving results, follow-up and problem solving, and confrontation ability; and the Idro9 model consists of decision-making, teamwork, performance management, business acumen, people management, ethical values, personality factors, leadership, and perceptual skills [10 and 19].
If the comparer could know the actual weights of the n factors under comparison, then the pairwise comparison matrix of the ratio of factors would be in the following form: (Refer to page image) d) The final step of the AHP model process includes determining the relative importance of each of the decision options in relation to the criteria and the overall goal of the problem under consideration.
