The aim of this article is to evaluate the status and strategy of the teleworking pattern for employees of government agencies. In order to collect the necessary data, 110 questionnaires regarding the factors affecting the adoption of teleworking were collected from the headquarters of the Ministry of Commerce and the Tehran Province Commerce Organization and analyzed. Based on the research model, the factors affecting the adoption of teleworking were categorized into seven groups: employee attitude, provision of infrastructure for implementing teleworking, nature of work, organizational design, social and environmental concerns, increasing the quantitative and qualitative capacity of the workforce, and employee awareness of the benefits of teleworking; these were examined using correlation tests and regression analysis. The results showed that employee attitude, provision of infrastructure for implementing teleworking, social and environmental concerns, increasing the quantitative and qualitative capacity of the workforce, and employee awareness of the benefits of teleworking have a positive and significant impact on the adoption of teleworking. However, the nature of work and organizational design do not have a significant impact on the adoption of teleworking.

5.
