Abstract:
As the largest source of human resource in the health sector, nurses have a special position in the medical arena, and the effectiveness of their performance is defined through their direct caretaking of the patients. Therefore, the purpose of the study at hand was to explore the role of organizational values and communication satisfaction through the mediating role of psychological ownership in nurses’ professional performance. This study was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of data collection and analysis method (using structural equation modeling). The statistical population involved all the 265 nurses at Sayyid al-Shuhada (a) hospital in Urmia city. Using Krejcie and Morgan table, the sample size was determined to be 155. The participants were then selected through relative stratified random sampling method. In order to collect data, questionnaires were used. After confirmation of the reliability and validity of the instruments, the descriptive and inferential analyses of the data were carried out using SPSS 22 and PLS3 software packages. The results of data analysis showed that organizational values and communication satisfaction have significant, positive effects on psychological ownership, and organizational values and communication values have positive, significant effects on nurses’ job performance through the mediating role of psychological ownership.

Therefore, the purpose of the present study was to investigate the role of organizational values and communication satisfaction with the mediation of psychological ownership on the job performance of nurses.
Since psychological ownership reflects the individual's current situation regarding the present organization and job, and on the other hand, the goals of organizations are to achieve a suitable and efficient mechanism to increase productivity and improve organizational performance, identifying various variables related to it is very important and influential (Rajabifard, 2015: 46).
Davarzani and Barani (2019) investigated the mediating role of psychological ownership in the relationship between leadership and job performance and stated that managers can change attitudes and strengthen the sense of ownership towards the organization 1.
01 Confirmed Discussion and Conclusion This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of organizational values and satisfaction with communication on the job performance of nurses with the mediation of psychological ownership.
Model analysis showed that by revealing organizational values and creating effective and efficient communication, and by changing attitudes and strengthening nurses' sense of ownership towards the organization, it is possible to influence nurses' behavior and provide the ground for increasing their job performance.
The findings of the research related to the second hypothesis showed that organizational values, satisfaction with communication, and psychological ownership have a direct, positive, and significant effect on job performance.
