Praising those who strive with their lives and wealth and stating that such individuals have made a transaction with God and that "a great reward", (2) "eternal paradise" (3) , "divine pleasure" (4) , and "a great success" (5) await them, encouraged Muslims to be present in the fields of Jihad and to sacrifice themselves in the way of God. These very promises that Almighty God gave to the people through His Prophet, and the personal conduct of the Prophet (PBUH), were among the most important factors in encouraging them to Jihad, struggle, and advancing toward Islamic goals. In Karbala, Imam Hussain(a) and his loyal companions, with the knowledge and awareness that they would reach martyrdom while being heavily armed against the enemy, stood up with the aim of defending religion, the way and method of the Messenger of Allah(saw), fighting against oppression and injustice, and the dominance of unworthy individuals who did not have the competence to lead the Islamic community, and sacrificed their lives. Consequently, the titles mentioned in the aforementioned verses and used regarding the mujahideen of the way of God, such as "jihad with life," "trading with God and purchasing paradise and divine pleasure in exchange for giving one's life," "military preparedness for the purpose of creating terror in the heart of the enemy," "the necessity of sacrifice and self-sacrifice in the way of supporting the Prophet and the religion of God" are all applicable to those who undertake martyrdom operations with the intention of seeking proximity [to God] and confronting the enemies of God's religion.
