(13) Allameh also considers the emergence of social life and the convergence of humans to be the offspring of this same "nature of employment," where everyone respects the "interests of others" for their "own benefit" and accepts "social justice" for the benefit of all: Approaching and gathering together is a type of employment and utilization that is carried out for the benefit of instinctive feeling, and then in every case where an individual finds a way to utilize their fellow humans, they will follow it; and since this instinct exists in everyone in a similar manner, it results in society.
(14) Allameh has also pursued this discussion in many instances in the interpretation of Al-Mizan (15) and has constantly emphasized that the nature of self-love and the tendency toward employment causes man to bring others into his service; and since this instinct and inclination exists in everyone, therefore humans have no choice but to compromise with others so that while benefiting from each other, they can also benefit one another, and on this basis, social life and social justice become necessary.
On the other hand, studying the Professor's other works shows that, in addition to what he raised in the footnotes of Usul al-Falsafa in this regard, he had other observations in mind; for example, Shahid Motahhari does not consider the being of man as "social by nature" to mean being "social by necessity," and he does not accept that man, according to his primary nature, desires to be free and not confined by the restrictions that are necessary for social life, but rather, through experience, he has realized that he is not capable of continuing his life alone and thus has submitted to the limitations of social life by compulsion.
