چکیده:
This study investigated the relationship between job attrition and John Holland personality types among teachers of ministry of education in district 2 Tehran. To this end a sample of 90 teachers were selected based on cluster sampling from population، for the instrumentation Maslach job attrition and John Holland self analysis Questionnaires were used. The data were descriptively and inferentially analyzed. To identify the relationship between the teacher''s job attrition amount and personality types such as realistic، sociable، artistic، enterprising، conventional، adventurous step by step regression procedure was employed. The result indicated that there is a significant relationship between John Holland personality types and job attrition amount. In way that the amount of job attrition is low for the sociable personalitytype، but high for the realistic، enterprising and conventional Personality types. The results also indicated that there was no significant relationship between job attrition and artistic personality type. The implication of the study is that it is better to identify people with a gift for teaching and prioritize those who are of the sociable type. Keywords: personality type, job attrition, teacher

For data analysis, two methods of descriptive and inferential statistics were employed, and through stepwise regression, teacher job burnout was explained via conventional, realistic, social, artistic, enterprising, and investigative types.
In this regard, the following hypotheses were proposed: 1- There is a significant relationship between personality types (conventional, social, realistic, artistic, enterprising, and investigative) and emotional exhaustion.
3- There is a significant relationship between personality types (conventional, social, realistic, artistic, enterprising, and investigative) and depersonalization.
4- There is a significant relationship between personality types (conventional, social, realistic, artistic, enterprising, and investigative) and involvement.

Among the aforementioned personality types, the findings of the research showed that three types, conventional, realistic, and theoretical, had the ability to predict the emotional exhaustion variable, and this relationship is significant at the 1% level.
Second Hypothesis: There is a significant relationship between personality types (conventional, social, realistic, artistic, theoretical, and investigative) and personal performance.
Third Hypothesis: There is a significant relationship between personality types (conventional, realistic, social, artistic, theoretical, and investigative) and depersonalization.
Fourth Hypothesis: There is a significant relationship between personality types (conventional, realistic, social, artistic, theoretical, and investigative) and involvement.
