" The noble verse emphasizes that the Jews contemporary to the Messenger of Allah (saw) are deserving of punishment with a burning torment, because they committed sin and disobedience, and God is not unjust to His servants; it explicitly states that this (punishment) is the result of what your hands have sent forth before.
Thus, satisfaction or dissatisfaction is the factor of وَصْل and فَصْل (connection and separation), and because the Jews contemporary to the Prophet were satisfied with the actions of their forefathers and the killing of the prophets, Almighty God held them responsible for the crime of their forefathers and thus condemned them, threatened them with punishment, and considered "generalization" as a reason against them, despite the fact that they were not contemporaries of the prophets, did not see them, and had no role in their killing.
It is narrated from Abu Abdillah Imam al-Sadiq (as) regarding these same verses: "There was a five-hundred-year gap between those killers and these requesters of the Prophet, but because they were satisfied with the actions of their forefathers, God considered them killers as well.
I heard from my beloved, the Messenger of Allah, who said: "Whoever loves a people will be gathered with them, and whoever is satisfied with the actions of a group is a partner in their deeds.
(32) These results and effects, by virtue of Divine laws (which are inevitable and occur by God's command), play a role in people's lives and do not only encompass the doers of the action and those present, but also include the absent, if they are satisfied or dissatisfied with it.
