چکیده:
Transformation in discourses and meta-narratives has led to changes in the quantity and quality of soft power resources; from this perspective, the weight of power resources in different worldviews and schools of thought varies. The divine worldview and its manifestation in the form of the religion of Islam present a set of fundamental values and beliefs that distinguish the collection of attractiveness-creating resources of the Islamic system—in terms of diversity, dispersion, and depth of durability—from the soft power resources in materialistic schools. In response to the fundamental question of what role Tawhid (monotheism) and belief in the one God, as the most fundamental religious belief, play in the process of producing soft power for the Islamic government in international politics, this research attempts, using an analytical-descriptive method and through functional analysis of the basic beliefs and values of society within the context of soft power production, to provide an accurate picture of the position and role of the element of Tawhid in socio-political engineering. In doing so, it seeks to prove that Tawhid and faith in the one God play a significant role in producing soft power for the Islamic government through processes such as attracting pure human natures, designing attractive transnational ideals, etc.

Therefore, in conditions where prominent Western thinkers define the current state of the world as a movement toward returning to religion and the virtuous city, faith and reliance on God—which, as the central signifier of the discourse of the Islamic Revolution, is rooted in the depths of the existence of every human being—can, if presented correctly and appropriately, lead to an increasing alignment of global public opinion with the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran; because according to many religious scholars, one of the causes of increasing irreligion in the global society is the shortcoming and inadequacy of religious people in applying the outward aspect of their lives to their inner faith and its specific characteristics.
