چکیده:
To test the research hypotheses, inferential statistical techniques were used for the inferential analysis of data and testing of research hypotheses, and the research hypotheses were examined using the two-tailed test. The results of the research indicate the confirmation of 3 main hypotheses regarding the impact of three main variables, including management characteristics, strategic export marketing capabilities, and company characteristics and capabilities, on the export performance in the petrochemical trading company. The development of non-oil exports is a necessary and unavoidable matter due to the decrease in oil revenues and the finite nature of oil resources on one hand, and the increase in the country's population on the other hand. The behavior and performance of the company in export markets, as well as the investigation of its fundamental success factors, is considered one of the key topics in this field, as it determines the level of a company's success in exporting. Therefore, due to the importance and special position of the petrochemical industry in non-oil exports, the present research has investigated the internal factors affecting export performance in a petrochemical trading company. The model used in the present research is the model provided by Soheil Nazer and Navaz Salem (2009), which is an integrated model of all existing models in this regard and includes 3 main variables: management characteristics, strategic export marketing capabilities, and characteristics and

The examination of fundamental factors of success and the export performance of a company has been noted in numerous studies such as the studies of Abay and Slater (1989), Cavusgil and Zou (1994), Chetty and Hamilton (1993), Gemunden (1991), Katsikeas, Piercy and Ioannidis (1996), Leonidou, Katsikeas and Samiee (2002) and Walters1, which, in identifying the factors affecting export performance, provide valuable guidance for managers and public policy makers to design and implement effective marketing strategies and public policies (Cavusgil Zou, 1994).
