چکیده:
The purpose of this research is to investigate the mediating role of professional ethics in the impact of organizational culture on social responsibility and organizational commitment of employees. The statistical population included all employees of the Sports and Youth Departments of Isfahan province, and the sample size was determined to be 201 based on Krejcie and Morgan table, and sampling was done using stratified random sampling proportional to the geographical distribution of the workplace. To collect information about the variable of organizational culture, Denison's questionnaire (2000) was used, the variable of social responsibility from Heidarzadeh and Rahpeima's questionnaire (2013), the variable of organizational commitment from Allen and Meyer's questionnaire (1990), and the variable of professional ethics from Kadzivir's questionnaire (2004). Their content and formal validity were confirmed based on the opinions of professors and their reliability was confirmed based on Cronbach's alpha. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data using Lisrel software, and the results showed that organizational culture indirectly affects organizational commitment with a coefficient of 0.36 and social responsibility with a coefficient of 0.37, considering the mediating variable of professional ethics, which confirms the mediating role of the variable of professional ethics and consequently the conceptual model of the research.
خلاصه ماشینی:
To collect data on the variable of organizational culture, Denison’s questionnaire (2000) was used; for the variable of social responsibility, the questionnaire of Heydarzadeh and Rahpeima (2013) was used; for the variable of organizational commitment, the questionnaire of Allen and Meyer (1990) was used; and for the variable of professional ethics, the questionnaire of Kadkhodaei (2004) was used.
By summarizing the background of the research, it can be concluded that although the variables of organizational culture, organizational commitment, and social responsibility have been studied as bivariate relationships, the extent to which professional ethics acts as a mediator in any of these bivariate relationships has never been investigated.
In the analytical model of the research, organizational culture is introduced as an independent variable, social responsibility and organizational commitment as dependent variables, and professional ethics as a mediating variable.
(Refer to the image on the page) Based on the results of the standardized structural model in Figure 2, the latent variable of organizational culture has a direct positive and significant effect on organizational commitment with a coefficient of 0.
Another noteworthy result in the final model is the confirmation of the mediating role of professional ethics in the path of organizational culture and social responsibility.
In other words, organizational culture has a significant and positive effect on social responsibility through the indirect path, considering the mediating role of professional ethics, with a coefficient of 0.
