Today's suitable managers are those who, in addition to having high individual and technical skills, also have appropriate cultural and emotional intelligence. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to study the relationship between cultural intelligence and achievement motivation of managers at Khorasan Razavi Telecommunications Company. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of execution method. The statistical population was the employees of Khorasan Razavi province telecommunications company, and a sample of 60 people was selected based on Cochran's formula and simple random sampling method. Two questionnaires were used to measure cultural intelligence and achievement characteristics. Correlation and multiple regression tests were used to test the research hypotheses. The findings showed that there is a relationship between the four-factor pattern of cultural intelligence (including cognitive intelligence, metacognitive intelligence, motivational intelligence, and behavioral intelligence) and the achievement motivation of managers. Also, among the four dimensions of cultural intelligence, behavioral and motivational dimensions showed a causal relationship with achievement motivation at a significance level of 0.05. The results of this research can be used in identifying the characteristics needed for individuals involved in cross-cultural interactions and can raise a new idea for academic studies and practical experiences in the field of culture.
