Covid-19 pandemic outbreaks, a part from educational television, the Ministry of Education creates the SHAD application to present virtual education and obliges students and teachers to use it. The current study evaluates the SHAD application and educational television by using surveys for elementary students and teachers. Questionnaires were provided and shared and 85372 students and 12778 teachers took part. Results showed that cellphones were the most accessible digital tools for all students and teachers. 72.4% of students and 90% of teachers reported slow speed for downloading and uploading files from the SHAD application. 78 % of students explained that the time for playing the educational television is too short. 88.6 % mentioned that their teachers taught lessons better than teachers in the educational television programs and 82.9 % did not feel attachment and close relationships to the teachers in the educational television. Near to 40 percent of students were satisfied with educational program and the teachers teaching in the television. Overall, teachers’ difficulties with the SHAD application can be categorized to four parts including monitoring and controlling of students learning, technical issues, lack of teacher skill and finally lack of access to digital tools. Around 35.2 % of teachers believed that educational television programs were appropriate to compensate the lack of face to face education in the classrooms. These findings may be applied for improving the current programs and additionally into integration of digital technologies in teaching and learning processes in Post-Covid 19 education at schools.
